With an average of 15 years working experience, our staff is trained to guide and motivate children to work through challenges large and small. Every child benefits from the expertise of a fully licensed physical therapist or occupational therapist.

All therapists doing Sensory Motor evaluations are trained in sensory integration theory and practice. Many are Sensory Integration and Praxis Test (SIPT) certified. Therapists performing CranioSacral Therapy are trained through advanced levels at the Upledger Institute in Florida.

Suzanne Aderholt, MOTR, CST-D


Suzanne has a Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy and a Bachelors in Fine Art. She is Diplomate Certified in CranioSacral Therapy with the Upledger Institute and the Team Leader for IPT's CranioSacral Therapy program. Special achievements to her credit are several published articles on the topic of CranioSacral Therapy and the SMILE award from the World CranioFacial Foundation in 2003. Prior to working with children, Suzanne worked in acute care and rehabilitation with physical trauma and chronic pain patients. Suzanne's gentle spirit and CranioSacral therapy skills go miles in aiding others through healing processes. Her hobbies include gardening, music and watercolor.

Lydia Boudreaux, PT, SIPT Cert.


Lydia received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Oklahoma in 1990. She is also certified in Sensory Integration and Praxis Testing (SIPT) and has taken CranioSacral I & II. Lydia initially worked with brain injured adults before being drawn completely into Pediatrics. Her hobbies include house projects, yoga, skiing, camping and boating. Lydia brings an incredible wealth of knowledge and expertise to IPT. The children she works with love her creative energy!!! Lydia has also completed training in Vital Sounds Therapeutic Listening program.

Kelly Giesecke, MOTR


Kelly has a degree in Rehabilitation from UNT and a Masters in Occupational Therapy from TWU. Prior to IPT, Kelly worked with adults and children with burn injuries as well as adults in worker compensation, pain management, acute care and rehabilitation with physical and neurological disorders. Kelly is a valuable member of the IPT team at the Shelton School, working in the Learning Intervention program and providing OT to children at the IPT gym on campus. When she is not working, Kelly enjoys many hobbies such as gardening, yoga, camping, and junking.

Glenda Gray, RMT


Glenda is a Licensed Massage Therapist. She has completed CranioSacral Therapy I & II, Somato Emotional Release I & II, Lymph Drainage I and the Immune Response with the Upledger Institute. She has been a teaching assistant for the Upledger Institute. She is currently working toward her CranioSacral Therapy Certification. Prior to doing CST, she worked in the public school system as a paraprofessional and a special education aide with special needs children of all ages and levels for 15 years. Glenda has two children and is the proud grandmother of three. Her interests are spending time with her children and grandchildren who are the lights of her life. Glenda also loves to sing country gospel music.

Katie Jent, MS, CFY/SLP


Katie received her Masters of Science degree in Communication Disorders at the University of Texas at Dallas. She did a practicum/clinical experience and internship at IPT and has continued on as an employee. Katie was the Vice President of National Student Speech Language Hearing Association (NSSLHA) for one year. She has worked with children with developmental delays, articulation delays, language disorders, and pragmatic difficulties.

Jeanne LaJoie, OTR


Jeanne attended Texas Woman's University where she earned her bachelor of science in Psychology. She also received her masters in Occupational Therapy.

Barbara LaJoie, OT, SIPT Cert.


Barbara earmed her Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from Texas Women's University in 1989. She is also certified for Interactive Metronome and Sensory Integration and Praxis Testing (SIPT). Barbara has 20 years of O.T. experience working with inpatient and outpatient adults, infants in rehabilitation, acute care, transitional care, skilled nursing care, pediatrics, and the neonatal intensive care unit. For the past 10 years she has specialized in pediatrics from infants to adolescents with a sensory integration and neurological approach in a private practice and private school setting.

Tara Mackenzie, OTR, SIPT Cert.


Tara has a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from Creighton University in Omaha NE. She is also a certified Interactive Metronome Trainer and has certification in Sensory Integration and Praxis testing (SIPT). Tara is the Team Leader for the Dallas Sensory Integration program and is involved in running several of their special programs. These include the "How Does Your Engine Run" program, the Therapeutic Listening program, and Handwriting Without Tears. Tara grew up in a small town and always wanted to work with children. She comes to us from the San Franicisco Bay area and is a great asset to our team! Her hobbies include yoga and all kinds of exercise.

Juby Mathew, OTR


Juby earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Studies and Master of Occupational Therapy degree from Texas Woman's University. She has been working with children with physcial, sensory, developmental and handwriting issues in private practice facilities. Juby has taken courses on Handwriting Without Tears and Brain Gym. She also has some experience working in an inpatient/acute care hospital working with adults. Juby is a Certified Interactive Metronome Trainer.

Lindsay Pearce, MOTR


Lindsay attended Texas Woman's University where she earned her Bachelors of Science in Child Development and Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy. She has a love for animals and worked at a veterinary clinic throughout school, but her passion lies in working with children and being a part of their progression. Her hobbies include arts and crafts, music, and dance.

Brigitte Petersen, PT, CST


Brigitte received her B.S. in Physical Therapy from Florida International University in 1981. Having a practiced in Australia, Germany and the U.S., Brigitte brings a wealth of knowledge and a unique perspective as a Therapist. Her passion with rehabilitation has led her to specialize in osteopathic philosophy; treat the cause not the symptom and treat the body as a whole (physical, emotional, spiritual). She believes prevention and going back to basics is the key for optimal health. She is certified CST and is currently working on the visceral manipulation certification. She serves as a teacher's assistant through the Upledger Institute for CST and also through Barral Institute for viserceral manipulation. Her hobbies include yoga, meditation and dancing.

Bonnie Rogers, MPT


Bonnie has a Masters degree in Physical Therapy and a Bachelors of Science degree from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. Before coming to IPT, Bonnie had primarily worked with adults with neurological and vestibular impairments. She has also taken courses in vestibular rehabilitation, orthotics and prosthetics, and gait training. She really fell in love with working with children during a pediatric clinical rotation. That experience included learning techniques while working on both gross and fine motor skills, aquatic therapy, school based therapy, dance programs, Hippotherapy, and utilization of SI techniques on the pediatric population. She really enjoys working with children and believes that they bring so much light and fun into everyday.

Debbie Roosa,


Deborah graduated from Texas Womans University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy. She worked as an OT in the public schools for 6 years prior joining IPT. Currently she works with the Learning Intervention Program at The Shelton School.

Megan Spohn, MS, CCC/SLP


Megan received her Master of Science degree in Communication Disorders. She is certified in Beckman Oral Motor Assessment and Intervention Methods. She also has extensive training in Greenspan Floortime Methods, Carbone Verbal Behavior Methods, Sensory Integration and Feeding/Dysphagia. Megan has worked with children with developmental delays, pragmatic difficulties, articulation disorders, and feeding issues in a variety of settings. In addition, Megan is a certified trainer in Interactive Metronome.

Candice Stevens, PT


Candice earned her degree in physical therapy from the University of Tennessee at Memphis. She has training in Neuro-Developmental Treatment and Sensory Integration. Candice is a Certified Interactive Metronome Provider, Certified Kinesiotaping Practitioner, and a Certified Clinical Instructor. She has eight years experience evaluating, casting, fitting and correcting ankle-foot orthotics. Candice truly has a love for pediatrics and believes in treating the individual child as a whole, striving to help the child reach his or her fullest potential.

Candie is involved in service to the community through various church ministries and organizations such as Junior League. She enjoys tennis, water sports, travel, music, spending time with family and friends, and playing with her 150 pound Great Dane, "Apollo".

Meg Haselden


Meg has worked in the healthcare industry for over 10 years, both in medical practice management and as a Licensed Massage Therapist. Meg is passionate about working with animals, and is certified in canine and equine therapy. She works in the Plano office as our Front Office Coordinator.
"I love seeing the kids little smiling faces at the window. I enjoy the relationships with the families and watching the kids progress as they run by my desk. One of the most rewarding things for me is to watch a child transform in their ability to communicate."

June Mills


June brings a great combination of people skills and administrative talent to IPT. She has a background in customer service which started when she was based in Dallas as a flight attendant in 1978. She then worked for a real estate developer until choosing to take time off to raise her three beautiful children; Amanda (a junior at Baylor University studying education), Caroline (a sophomore at Auburn studying physical therapy) and James (a junior at Highland Park High School). Her adminstrative "know how" comes from working with a local caterer and court reporter. She is married to Jim, a Dallas attorney and enjoys attending football games, painting furniture, going to the movies and visiting her girls on the weekends.

Bethany Rose


Bethany attended the University of North Texas where she graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology with a minor in Psychology. She works in our Plano office as one of our front office coordinators and she is certified in the Interactive Metronome Program. Bethany has always had a love for athletics playing all sports. This was evident throughout college while playing softball at both the JUCO and NCAA Division 1 levels.

LaRae Steadman


LaRae trained as a dancer at Texas Christian University and owned and directed her own dance studio for many years. She has been our office manager since 2000. LaRae teaches dance for special needs children as part of an adaptive dance program organized through Texas Scottish Rite Hospital and the Dance Council. She enjoys dance, art, movies and spoiling her weenie dog, Tex. She has two grown sons; one is a teacher/coach/camp counselor and the other is a 3-D computer animation artist.
