What is Therapeutic Listening?

Listening is the function of the whole brain: when we listen, we listen with the whole body. IPT has therapists trained in several different types of listening programs, including "The Listening Program" and "Therapeutic Listening". All use sound stimulation in combination with sensory integrative treatment techniques, to assist with the nervous system's ability to process sensory information. Therapeutic Listening is a highly individualized method of auditory intervention utilizing electronically altered CD's in protocol specifially tailored by sensory integration professionals to match the child's therapeutic needs.

First impressions are so important, especially to children who are going to a new place.
